I feel his latest work sends a mixed message.
The pose says, come and play...
But the guns tell me I better ask permission first.

As many of you know I resist putting up random funny photos from the net etc...
I will make an exception for this gentleman.
Truely a photo which raises more questions then it answers and ultimately, that to me, is what makes great art.
Shock and Awe.

This is so typical Calgary. The 2 pictures are less than 48 hours apart. On Thursday morning I had to drop Mika at school then go to the airport to pick someone up and bring them to work. It took 3 hours, in fact after almost an hour in traffic I could still see our house. Today it's gotta be close to 20 and tomorrow is supposed to be the same.

The track is open full time now and conditions on Sunday were perfect. The parking lot was packed, but all the tracks were open so there was plenty of room for all.
Despite logging hundreds of training hours this winter playing MXvsATV on the PS3 may hands were not yet up to the challenge. To toughen them up I'm now carrying around lit BBQ briquettes. I saw that in a movie once.
